Nengudi writes of this piece: “I did a lecture in Chicago. I always try to include a performance in my lectures. It was a simple concept- but one that had such a stunning affect that I’ve never done it again. Towards the end of my talk about my background and artwork, I handed these sheets out and had them circulated among the audience. It seemed to really off balance them.”
