Summary:
“Double Think Bulemia: Mouth to Mouth: Conversations on Being” was a project initiated by Senga Nengudi and sent out over the airwaves by satellite feed in 1988. Described as “a 28 minute crazy quilt of conversation and music,” “Bulemia” was an effort to rethink the term most often associated with disease as a metaphor for exploring the nature of creativity. This project included: Charles Abramson, Carol Blank, John Outterbridge, Darryl Sevad, Kaylynn Sullivan, SunRa, and Cecil Taylor.
